Transfer Terms

1. Introduction
These transfer terms apply to all domain purchases and transfers through websites managed by Micropages. By purchasing a domain, you agree to these terms.
2. Definitions
- Domain: The domain name being offered for sale.
- Buyer: The person or entity purchasing the domain.
- Seller: Micropages, the current owner of the domain.
- Transfer: The process of transferring domain ownership.
- Authorization Code: The code (also known as EPP code or transfer code) required for transfer.
3. Domain Transfer Process
After successful payment, the transfer process proceeds as follows:
3.1 Verification
We verify your identity and payment details to prevent fraud.
3.2 Authorization Code
You will receive the authorization code within 24 hours to initiate the transfer at your registrar.
3.3 Timeline
The complete transfer typically takes 5-7 business days, depending on your registrar.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payment via Stripe (credit card, iDEAL, bank transfer where available).
4.2 Escrow Protection
The domain is only transferred after receipt of full payment.
4.3 Refund Policy
All sales are final. Refunds are only provided if the transfer cannot be completed due to seller's fault.
5. Ownership Transfer
Ownership of the domain passes to the buyer once the transfer is completed at the registrar. Until that time, Micropages remains the owner of the domain.
6. Warranties and Disclaimers
The domain is sold "as is".
Micropages warrants that:
- We are the lawful owner of the domain
- The domain is free from liens and third-party claims
- The transfer will be completed as described
- Specific search results or rankings
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Historical reputation or backlinks
7. Limitation of Liability
Micropages' liability is limited to the amount paid for the domain. Micropages is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes, we first attempt to reach an amicable settlement. If this is not possible, disputes are settled by the competent court in the Netherlands.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law.
